There's a new man in my life

And he's adorable.

He likes to sleep.

And work.

Here we are taking a break at the Ballard Locks. He did not like this phase. The one with the cone. He got neutered at the end of May before I got him and unfortunately his "absorbable" stitches did not all absorb. So in June they had to pull one out, then he got the cone, but he kept getting at his incision and wouldn't let it heal until I finally saw another piece of stitch and what looked like a small piece of sand stuck in the incision. So I removed those, and 3 weeks later, healed dog. Only traditional stitches for this guy from now on, because his neuter incision took 5 months to heal completely. Ugh. But he is happy the cone is finally retired.

Learning his favorite trick...

And here he is being Mr. Tough guy, although I don't think the cat is convinced.

awesome! that last video sent Jas from her sleepy comfy crated-ness to the picture window to find out what dog she's being deprived of playing with.
